Artist's Comments
There's a lot of thought behind this and I'm extremely happy with the outcome. It looks as deep and gritty [In my opinion] as I hoped it would. Just to clarify things, I'm in a bath, and yes I made the mess on my face purposely, it's not normal make-up running. I stabbed my tear ducts with liquid eyeliner, made a few stripes of pink eyeliner and pale concealer on my face, and then rinsed my face with water a few times to let it all run.
This picture obviously isn't intended to be flattering, and it isn't intended to be 'attractive'. I would say that no matter who was in it when I took it. I contrasted it a little [approx +3] 'De-brightened' [approx -7]. I left the yellow tinge on purpose, I thought it went nicely. When I decresed brightness in the red colour channel, which I usually do to get rid of it, it didn't show the marks on my face as well. If anyone thinks this needs a mature content label, you're sad. I don't think a small part of someone's collarbone area is really going to totally offend any under eighteens. Any people decide they're going to be innapropriate will be reported for abuse. |
